Alleluia! merges together beautiful astronomical images and musical sounds to create a stirring and soulful presentation for today's Christian. 46 images from across God's universe, paired together with the choral music of orchestral composer Eric Whitacre and written and performed in the beautiful Renaissance style, blend together perfectly to reveal God's creation. This video will stir the soul and help one understand the truth - that the Universe was created by God, and that He is still creating it today.
This Astronomical Journey traverses the universe through what from our perspective are the 4 visual zones of the cosmos. We begin with a few wide-angle views of 1) beautiful starscapes as might typically be seen with the unaided eye from our backyard. We are then 'teleported' outward to visit 2) our home solar system and several of the beautiful planets residing therein. Traveling still further outward into outer-space, we see the awesome expanse and beauty of 3) our dusty and nebula-filled home galaxy, the Milky Way. ...only to finally reach its outer limits; we step further outward into the endless expanse of 4) the inter-galactic medium, where galaxies roam and thrive.
The science that is documented within these images, and also within the technological capability that delivers this presentation, is 'true' in that it (Science) helps us better understand how God accomplished His creation. The 2 'truths' of Science and Faith - one being a matter of human intellect, the other a matter of the human heart - are both self-evident; and, they are also completely compatible. Together, they confirm the reality, authority and wonder of God, and fully answer the question, "Where did all this come from?" ...along with the inevitable follow-up, "Where did I come from?" Indeed, Scientists have hypothesized for years that the very atoms contained in our own bodies were created by the atomic process of fusion occurring inside the central cores of stars. But while that is an awesome and wonderful revelation, it still does not wholly explain the true essence of who we are... Living spirits; self-aware; and created by Yaweh (YAH - wey), our Living God.
